This is an Application Form for Admission to all OTHER year groups ONLY (2nd/3rd/TY/5th/6th Yrs), and does not constitute an offer of a place, implied or otherwise. Use of the word ‘Applicant’ throughout this Application Form refers to the person applying for Admission, and does not imply that the person on whose behalf this application is being made is regarded as having been accepted as a student of Calasanctius College.Applicants will be notified of the status of their application in a timely manner as soon as it is processed in accordance with our Admission Policy. On receipt of an offer, Parents/Guardians will be asked to further complete an Enrolment Form and submit it along with supporting documentation by the deadline date specified in the offer letter.
Deadline date for applications for admission in the 2026/27 academic year is April 30th 2026.
Should any information supplied on this application form be invalid or become invalid, it is the responsibility of Parents/Guardians to contact the School Office immediately in writing and provide information needed to update the application. Failure to do so may render an application invalid, and may result in the applicant being refused admission to the school, or may result in a later decision to enrol the applicant being revoked.
All applications for the 2026/27 school year will be processed in accordance with our 2026/27 Admissions Policy which is available on the school website (www.calasanctius.ie) and should be read prior to completing this application form. The information requested on this application form is required in order to process your application for admission to the school. The information provided by you will be treated confidentially and processed in line with the school's Admission Policy.
Any personal data provided on this form will be used to:
(i) identify applicants
(ii) process an application in line with the school's Admission Policy
(iii) communicate with Parents/Guardians in respect of an application
(iv) notify Parents/Guardians of the outcome of an application
The information will be retained for an appropriate period thereafter to address any potential queries arising from the application process or added to the student's file in the case of successful applicants.
In accordance with section 66(6) (Admission to Schools) Act 2018 allows for a list of students who have made applications for admission to be shared with a patron or another Board of Management, in order to facilitate the efficient admission of students. The data which may be provided for this purpose may include all or any of the following:
a) the date on which an application for admission was received by the school;
b) the date on which an offer of admission was made by the school;
c) the date on which an offer of admission was accepted by an applicant;
d) a student’s personal details including his or her name, address, date of birth and personal public service number (within the meaning of Section 262 of the Social Welfare Consolidation Act 2005).
This data may be further shared with the Department of Education for further processing to facilitate the efficient admission of students. This is in accordance with the Minister for Education’s statutory function to ensure that there is made available to each person resident in the State a level and quality of education appropriate to meeting the needs and abilities of that person and to plan and co-ordinate the provision of education in recognised schools, having regard to the resources available.
