1. To qualify for the discounted rate, homeschool groups must have a minimum of 15 students. Groups with 14 students or less will not receive a discounted rate.
2.Homeschool group rates: 15-49 students are $5 per student (pumpkins are not included). 50 or more students are $4 per student (pumpkins are not included). All adults and chaperones have a regular entry fee of $7 per person. Ages 2 and under are free.
3. A single payment must be made in full prior to or at your reservation arrival (no multiple payments, please). No groups will be admitted without payment.
4. Checks, cash and Venmo are also accepted. Venmo is @HarwardFarms.
5. Homeschool groups who arrive without a reservation and are not on the RSVP list (see #6) will not receive the discounted rate and will pay full price for entry for students and adults, no pumpkins included. Reservations cannot be made same-day.
6. Reservations for homeschools must be made at least 3 days in advance and may be scheduled any time between 10 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday from Sept. 29 - Oct. 31, 2025. Black-out dates where no reservations are available are Oct. 16 - 20, 2025.
7. After arriving for your reservation, any of your guests may stay until Jaker's closing time.
8. Because there are limitations to how many students per hour are allowed at Jaker's, your reservation is not guaranteed until you have received a confirmation email from us. Because dates fill up, we ask that you select a 1st, 2nd and 3rd option.
9. Homeschools with reservations must email harwardfarms@gmail.com a complete RSVP list of families at least 2 days before the day of your reservation. An RSVP template will be emailed to you when you receive your confirmation from us. To receive the discounted rates, students must be on the RSVP list.
10. All public and private schools are required to arrive together at their scheduled reservation time. Understanding that homeschools will be arriving in several different groups, we require that homeschool groups arrive within a 15-minute window of the scheduled reservation. If families/groups arrive before or after the 15-minute window, they will be asked to pay the full rate for entry.
11. Homeschool groups who arrive without a reservation will not receive the discounted rate and will pay full price for entry for students and adults, no pumpkins included.
12. We require at least one adult chaperone per every 20 students.
13. Outside food is not allowed with the exception of a private pavilion rental. Pavilion rentals have picnic table seating for approx. 60 adults and are an excellent solution for storing jackets, lunches, drinks, etc. Pavilions are available in 3-hour increments for the discounted rate of $25 for schools with reservations. For more information and to reserve a pavilion for your school, contact 801-658- 6995. Please note cooking of any kind is not allowed at Jaker's.
14. All guests of Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns must respect the written rules as posted at the entry gate and throughout the venue, which includes no pets, no vaping, no smoking and no alcohol on the premises, including the parking lot.
15. All guests must respect the property of Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns. School organizations and guests are entirely responsible for any intentional or unintentional damage of any part of Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns by replacing or paying for damaged property.
16. There is uneven ground, metal slides, farm animals that can bite and many other hazards at Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns. All students, adults and attendees acknowledge that visiting Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns is at their own risk.
17. Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns and/or Harward Farms Sweet Corn, Inc. are not responsible for any injury or harm to any persons that occur on the property of Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns. Responsibility for such events lies entirely with the school organizations, injured guests and/or their families.
18. Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns and/or Harward Farms Sweet Corn, Inc. are not responsible for any injury or harm caused by a student, adult or guest of the attending school organization or group to any other persons on the premises. Responsibility for such events lies entirely with the school organizations, responsible guests and/or their families.
19. Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns and/or Harward Farms Sweet Corn, Inc. is not responsible for any lost or stolen property of our guests.
20. Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns and/or Harward Farms Sweet Corn, Inc. is not responsible for any damage, theft or loss that may occur to your vehicle or any other personal property in the parking lot or anywhere else on the property of Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns.
21. Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns reserves the right to ask any disrespectful, unruly or non-observant guests to leave the premises at any time.
