    Camp can be physically tiring, even exhausting. The facility or activities may require volunteers to manage uneven terrain, be at a high altitude, require hiking, climbing, running, swimming, lifting, stairs, and other strenuous activities depending on the volunteer position. (Note: Volunteers who stay in the cabins with the campers are not allowed to have medication in the cabins. Medication must be kept in another secure location as designated by Camp L.I.T. Leadership.

  • COACHES/STAFF: All Camp L.I.T. volunteers will be interviewed, background checked, and trained before being on staff.

    CONFIDENTIALITY: Every teen registered with Camp L.I.T. has the right to confidentiality. Our volunteers are instructed not to take pictures of/with, exchange addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or social media information with any teen/minor participant. Any videos or pictures that are obtained by Camp L.I.T. of any teen/minor participant will be edited by blocking/blurring out faces if used in any promotional medium.

    SAFETY/LIABILITY: Safety and every precaution will be taken to protect teens and volunteers from harm. Camp L.I.T. staff is very aware of our responsibility to each teen’s safety, but Camp L.I.T., Inc. is not liable for injuries/death that any teen or volunteer may incur while camping or participating in Camp L.I.T. activities.

    PHOTO RELEASE: I grant permission to Camp L.I.T., its agents, and its volunteers the irrevocable and unrestricted right to produce photographs and video taken of myself while attending any Camp L.I.T. activities for any lawful purpose including publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, trade, or historical archive in any manner or in any medium. I hereby release Camp L.I.T. and its legal representatives from liability for any violation or claims relating to said images or video. Furthermore, I grant permission to use the statements of myself given during an interview or evaluation with or without my name for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction to time limit or geographic area. I waive my right to any and all compensation stemming from the use of these materials.
