Deposit Agreement and Cancellation Policy
Dear Reiki Student,
Thank you for registering for our Reiki Training program at Moon Yogi Holistic Healing. To secure your spot in the training, we require a deposit of $200. This deposit will be deducted from the total training fee.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we ask that you please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend the class. This will allow us to offer the spot to someone on the waitlist, and it may also give us the opportunity to reschedule your participation in the class or training.
Please take the time to read and understand our policies regarding cancellations, deposits, no-shows, and payments. By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these policies.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule or cancel your participation, please notify us at least five (5) days (120 hours) before the training begins. In this case, we will refund your $200 deposit in full. Cancellations made less than five (5) days (120 hours) before the training will result in forfeiture of your deposit, which will be retained by Moon Yogi Holistic Healing.
For example: If the class starts on Wednesday at 10:00 AM, the latest time you can cancel and still receive a refund is Friday at 10:00 AM of the previous week.
Deposit Policy
The deposit of $200 is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason, including but not limited to, personal reasons, illness, change of plans or any other circumstances that may arise if you are cancelling or rescheduling your participation less than (5) days (120 hours) before the training.
Payment
The remaining balance of the class fee is due in full on the first day of the training. Please bring the full amount due with you to the class and submit payment using the approved method previously discussed with Moon Yogi Holistic Healing. Please note that payment plans are not available.
No-Show & Attendance Policy
Your full attendance is required in order to complete the training and receive your certificate of completion. Whether the class is a one-day or multi-day program, participation in the entire training is necessary.
By registering, you acknowledge and agree that failure to attend the training in full—or missing any portion of it—will be considered a no-show, regardless of the reason. This includes, but is not limited to, illness, personal emergencies, travel, or changes in plans.
This policy applies to all trainings, including our two-day Reiki Level 1 & 2 Practitioner Training, where both days must be attended in full. If you attend the first day but fail to return for the second, it will be treated as a no-show.
In all such cases, the following applies:
1. The $200 deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of a no-show.
2. If you attend only part of the training and do not complete it, you are still responsible for the full training fee, which is due on the first day of class.
3. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be offered for missed classes, missed time, or partial attendance. All trainings are designed as complete experiences and cannot be made up in part or transferred to another date.
Force Majeure
Moon Yogi Holistic Healing reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the training in the event of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health concerns, instructor illness, travel restrictions, or venue issues. In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed, but we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the training or transfer your registration to a future date.
Liability Waiver & Training Acknowledgment
By registering for and attending the Reiki Practitioner Training at Moon Yogi Holistic Healing, I understand and acknowledge the following:
1. This training is a two-day educational event designed to teach the principles and techniques of Reiki as a complementary wellness practice. I have read and understood the class description and curriculum before registering, and I am aware of what the training entails.
2. I understand that Reiki is a complementary wellness practice and is not a substitute for medical or psychological care. Reiki practitioners do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or perform medical procedures. If I have any health-related concerns, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a licensed medical or mental health professional.
3. I am voluntarily participating in this training and affirm that I am physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of doing so. I take full responsibility for my well-being and participation throughout the course.
4. I understand that full participation on both days of the training is required to receive certification. There are no makeup days or transfers for missed classes.
5. I understand that no promises or guarantees have been made regarding my success or future outcomes as a Reiki practitioner. I recognize that the development of a personal or professional Reiki practice depends on many factors, including my own effort, commitment, and continued education.
6. I understand that the certificate of completion provided by Moon Yogi Holistic Healing is not a license or credential issued by a governmental authority. It does not guarantee legal right to practice Reiki in every jurisdiction. I am responsible for understanding and complying with any local laws or regulations related to offering Reiki or complementary wellness services in my area.
7. I release and hold harmless Moon Yogi Holistic Healing, its instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from or connected to my participation in the training.
Agreement & Acknowledgment
By signing this form and submitting your deposit, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined in this Deposit Agreement, Cancellation Policy, and Liability Waiver. You also understand that these policies are firm and clearly communicated. By doing so, you waive the right to dispute, challenge, or pursue legal or financial action against Moon Yogi Holistic Healing or its instructors in connection with the enforcement of these policies, including the forfeiture of your deposit in accordance with the stated terms.
