THE BASICS:

Room 7 @ Grouse Melbourne is our charming lo-fi 40 seater adaptable venue suitable for comedy, cabaret, performance, experimental, and/or multidisciplinary art forms. Located at 171 Smith St, Fitzroy VIC 3065. 

For Melbourne Fringe 2025 we are currently programming 60 minute timeslots with up to 5 events per night and some kid friendly gigs during the day.  

Current venue hire fee: $175+GST or 25% of Ticket Sales (whichever is greater) per timeslot (includes FOH/Lighting and basic Audio tech/Up to 4 rehearsal hours in the space/General season venue marketing and promo support).

- We are open to all length of season(s) durations and/or one off shows during Melbourne Fringe 2025 with the programming being a glorious puzzle so please get in contact with us direct if this form below doesn't fit your idea but you think the venue is for you. 

- If you are still generating an idea/show title and/or are still in the development stage, please fill in the details you currently have and we can communicate further about your idea and whether your work and the venue are the right match for all.

- We would like to ensure your budget meets and is realistic with your idea and predictions so please contact us for some basic advice on this.
