2025 Lovells Alpine Rally of East Gippsland - Officials Registration

  • OFFICIALS REGISTRATION FORM

Use this form to volunteer to be an official on the 2025 Lovells Alpine.

The Alpine needs over 250 groups of officials to run as planned. It's a very important job - without officials we have no event.

    We really appreciate you volunteering!

Please give us your full details, particularly your contact and availability information.

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk.

  • Your details...

  • To help with our planning. please ensure that only ONE person per party registers. But, to be covered by Officials Insurance, all Officials will sign on on the day.

  • Motorsport Australia allows for Junior Officials, aged between 12 and 18 years to participate as a supervised official in the Alpine and receive recognition for officialing at this event.

Junior Officials will need to sign on at the meet point and their parent/legal guardian needs to sign a Consent Form. The stage commander can also sign the Junior Official's log book if required.

  • Dogs in forests

We discourage you from taking dogs into the forest. Any dogs accompanying officials are there at the owner’s risk and must be on a lead and supervised at all times.

    Thank you for volunteering...

We are very grateful that you are volunteering to be an official at the Alpine – your participation is critical to the running of the event.

Please note the following points about your involvement:

    • You need to be able to assist in any general official position, including at a road closure, start or finish control. Training will be provided.
    • You need to be capable, confident in driving and equipped to be out in the bush for 6 to 8 hours - rain, hail or shine.
    • You need to be available for at least one day across the entirety of the Alpine.
    • You need to be able to start early in the morning - officials’ meet times are as early as 6:00 am.
    • Please advise the Officials Coordinator immediately if you are not available to be an official so you can be replaced. Every role is critical and any roles not filled may jeopardise the entire stage/event.
    • You must not conduct your Officials role under the influence of alcohol at any time throughout the event.
    • Children and dogs that accompany any official are there at the officials own risk and must be supervised at all times.
