• All But Dissertation Status Change

  • This document confirms a student’s transition to “All But Dissertation” (ABD) status after completing all degree requirements except the dissertation, subject to consultation with their academic and research advisors.

    Important Note: 

    (1) An All But Dissertation fee of 15,000 THB applies per semester.

    (2) International students must consult Student Affairs before changing from In Residence to In Absentia status due to potential visa implications.

    (3) ABD students must enroll in Research and Development (41-910 or 18-910): 36 credits for In Residence or 5 credits for In Absentia.

    (4) ABD status is limited to a maximum of 10 years from the starting term.

    (5) In Absentia (Off-Campus) students are ineligible for university-funded stipends; contact your academic department for stipend eligibility.

    (6) Form submission is valid for one semester per request
