Welcome to this short online survey developed by the UCL Grand Challenge: Climate Crisis.
Introduction and aims of the survey
The aim of this survey is to gain an overview of research efforts and collaborations across UCL around the theme of climate governance. With the information you provide we hope to (1) promote existing work within UCL and beyond, (2) identify common research themes and (3) gauge opportunities for further collaboration across faculties and departments. This is in line with our mission as UCL Grand Challenge: Climate Crisis as we aim to empower UCL’s extensive and diverse community of staff and students to tackle the climate crisis by facilitating cross-disciplinary collaboration, incentivising innovation and providing pathways for climate action.
If you are involved in climate governance research at UCL, we would like to hear from you. Your responses will be used for research mapping purposes, strategic planning and, with your consent, in future Grand Challenge: Climate Crisis communications and networking. We are hoping to showcase some of the work you may share with us in communication outputs, such as an annual report on the Grand Challenge: Climate Crisis and climate governance research at UCL.
Participation and consent
The survey should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Participation is entirely voluntary. On the final page before submission you will find different options to choose from regarding how your data will be used by the Grand Challenge: Climate Crisis team. Please note that you are free to skip any questions you are not comfortable answering, and you may withdraw participation at any time. If you decide to participate, we would be grateful if you could complete the survey by 17th November 2025.
