Call for Good Practices: Greening Skills and Qualifications in Africa
The All-Africa Students Union (AASU) is undertaking the ACQF-II Pilot Project, Greening Skills and Qualifications in Africa - Users' Engagement, to establish a contextual foundation for aligning green skills with qualifications frameworks across Africa. Through analyzing employer demands, education supply, and landscapes (including AfCFTA), this research will identify gaps, propose preliminary integration approaches (including RPL and microcredentials), and develop insights for future stakeholder action. By collecting good practices from across Africa, the project aims to inform policy discussions and provide practical recommendations while highlighting the crucial alignment between skills development, climate action, and Africa's green economic transition.
