Volunteer Shift Information:

Volunteer shifts are a minimum of 4 hours long, you may sign up for multiple shifts (i.e. back-to-back shifts, multiple days, etc.). Please indicate amount of hours and days available below. Admission is free for the day(s) in which are volunteered.

While we make every effort to provide a safe and pleasant environment for everyone who attends the Stalew Pow-wow, we do require that this participation agreement be read, filled out, signed, and dated by all volunteers (or their parent/guardian if under the age of 18) who wish to participate in the Stalew Pow-wow.
I acknowledge that my participation is completely voluntary and is being undertaken with no promise or expectation of compensation. For promotional or marketing purposes, the Stalew Pow-wow reserves the right to use any audio, video, and/or photography of volunteers at the Event. With full knowledge, I accept full responsibility for any injury or accident that may occur to myself or my child while participating as a volunteer at the Stalew Pow-wow. I am aware that, in participating in any Stalew Pow-wow activities or positions, I may be exposed to personal injury and damage to my property as a result of my activities, the activities of other person(s) or the conditions under which my volunteer services are performed. With full knowledge and understanding, I accept any and all risks of damage, injury, illness, or death and I release and discharge Stalew Pow-wow & Stalew Arts & Cultural Society, its officers, directors, employees, and sub-contractors from any claims for damages or injury and liability arising out of my participation as a volunteer. I have carefully read this acknowledgement and release, and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and I freely and voluntarily accept the terms. I certify that I am at least (18) years of age or I have had this document signed by my parent or guardian. I understand that the minimum volunteer age limit is (16). I also herby state that I do not have any criminal records, current or pending charges against myself that would prohibit me from working with or near children, youth and/or vulnerable adults. I further state that I am in proper condition for participation in these activities. I agree to abide by the rules established by the Stalew Pow-wow and Stalew Arts & Cultural Society, as well as health and safety requirements.
