Guided Tour; Presque Isle Lighthouse - Currently available Mondays and Fridays.
$16, Free for Members

Must be 44" tall to climb the tower.

This one hour guided experience will immerse you in 150 years of history and the Lighthouse's importance to Erie and to the Great Lakes. Our guides will walk you through what life was like for Keeper's and their families on the peninsula, working at a Lighthouse, and the importance of the lighthouse to mariners and shipping on Lake Erie. The tour last one hour: 40 minutes through the house and grounds and 20 minutes in the tower. Tours are limited to 8 people per tour time. Guided tours are subject to weather and may be cancelled at discretion of staff.

We cannot guarantee that we will accommodate a tour if the group is more than 15 minutes early, or 15 minutes behind. If your plans change, please notify us as soon as possible.

I understand that all guided tour requests are subject to approval and that I may receive an automated reservation approved message. I also understand that, if my group does not fill up the time slot, that other individuals may be part of my tour group.

If you wish to have a private group tour, you must purchase the full time slot for the guided tour ($128). This guided tour is subject to weather and staffing. Upon arrival, I will check in at the Ticket Desk in the Welcome Center and Gift Shop.
