The rescue is a private shelter and values its privacy. Are you willing to refrain from any photography or video while working at the rescue and not share business information with others? Those who break trust will be fired.

The rescue requires people who show up and on time. Will you provide your current or past work ethic that demonstrates your understanding of animal care in a shelter environment?

A kennel manager position may be available in the near future, what are some attributes that you have that may fit those potential role?

This is a very physical job that requires standing/walking for long periods. There is a fall risk due to wet concrete floors. One must be able to lift 30 pounds. Are you able to safely perform this job based on these requirements? Please keep in mind that the rescue conducts due diligence negating injuries.

You will get jumped on, scratched, and possibly nipped or bitten. This is an inherent risk working among animals. Is this acceptable to you?

The rescue highly prefers a person who can work independently after a reasonable training period. How do you excel in an environment where you have little supervision?

This position is a cleaning position primarily. Person must like cleaning and pay attention to detail. What attributes do you have that align with this position?

Inside the kennel can be very loud at times, are you comfortable wearing hearing protection or being subjected to barking for long periods of time?

You will be required to have situational awareness as you will be managing many dogs at once. Please provide past work experiences where this quality was utilized.

The rescue requires a highly dependable person who understands that dogs need cared for regardless of holidays, weather, etc. Do you agree?
