Petition Denouncing CAIR and "Muslim Capitol Day" Logo
  • Our Republic faces an ideological attack by CAIR—the Council on American-Islamic Relations—a foreign-aligned, anti-constitutional group named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest U.S. terrorism financing trial due to Hamas ties. CAIR seeks to replace Constitutional law with a totalitarian system that criminalizes free speech, undermines law enforcement, and imposes foreign ideologies. This is sedition, not tolerance.

    Law Enforcement has informed us, after their recent press release, that CAIR would likely use the in-person event to manufacture a violent event that will frame them as victims, which is just the opposite of the truth. The truth is that CAIR is using terrorism to suppress free speech and expression of those who oppose their jihad against the United States.

    We call on the People of Texas to stand with us against CAIR’s seditious agenda. Your signature affirms your commitment to defend Texas!

    • CAIR was founded by operatives from the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP) a Hamas front group identified during the Holy Land Foundation trial and based in Texas—confirming CAIR’s roots in a terrorist financing network;
    • CAIR supports Aafia Siddiqui (“Lady al-Qaeda”), who attacked U.S. personnel, and defends Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, involving rape, torture, and murder.
    • CAIR’s Nihad Awad said, “I am in support of the Hamas movement,” and co-founder Omar Ahmad stated, “Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith but to become dominant. The Qur’an should be the highest authority in America," exposing CAIR’s theocratic ambitions and aiming to replace constitutional law.
    • CAIR opposes anti-Sharia laws like the American Laws for American Courts initiative, seeking to impose Sharia, which violates constitutionally secured rights.
    • CAIR exploits refugee children, fabricating a “hate crime” in Houston to raise 175,000, despite no evidence. CAIR undermines law enforcement by instructing mosques tied to terrorists not to cooperate with police.
    • CAIR’s Houston Director issued a Sharia-based death threat (fatwa) against a Texas legislator for opposing a Ramadan resolution.
    • CAIR promotes Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions, against Israel, violating Texas Government Code Chapter 2271, which protects state interests.
    • CAIR files baseless lawsuits against Texas’s anti-BDS laws and campus speech orders, challenging constitutional measures.
    • CAIR-TX has promoted “Islamophobia” resolutions and public pressure campaigns designed to criminalize dissent, chill political speech, and silence criticism of Sharia law or Islamic supremacist ideology, mirroring tactics used by foreign theocracies;
    • CAIR-TX, led by Sameeha Rizvi, CAIR Action Texas’s Advocacy and Policy Coordinator, has suppressed constitutional liberties through intimidation and ideological coercion, including a campaign that forced the cancellation of a peaceful protest by Christian women from Accountability Matters and Defending Our Republic on April 29, 2025, at the Texas State Capitol, with Rizvi’s April 25 statement labeling organizers as “extremists” and inciting threats; accusing Texas lawmakers of “Islamophobia” for scrutinizing security legislation and the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC) City development, under investigation for legal violations, to deflect oversight; issuing a “Bullying Report” that pressures Texas schools to label legitimate curricula as “Islamophobic,” threatening academic liberties; and supporting Lalani and Bhojani’s House Concurrent Resolution 85, designating a decade-long “Day to Combat Islamophobia,” May, 2025 Page of 2 4which praises CAIR and mirrors Pakistan’s blasphemy laws to curb criticism of Islamic ideology, collectively undermining First Amendment liberties;
    • Texas House Representatives Lalani and Bhojani’s resolutions, including HR 32 recognizing “Pakistan Day” and HCR 18 declaring a decade-long “Muslim Heritage Month,” promote foreign nationalist and Islamic identities over American unity, while their silence on Pakistan’s persecution of religious minorities and praise for CAIR reveal an agenda to replicate Pakistan’s theocratic framework in Texas, undermining the state’s Judeo-Christian and constitutional values;
    • The Sugar Land Iftar, orchestrated by Rehan Siddiqi, accused of ties to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence and blacklisted by India for anti-Hindu and anti-India propaganda, featured a live broadcast from Mecca, inaccessible to non-Muslims, raising concerns about foreign influence and the surrender of Texas civic spaces to ideologues aligned with CAIR’s agenda of advancing Islamic dominance; and
    • The U.S. Constitution (Article IV, Section 4) guarantees every state a republican form of government and protection against invasion and domestic violence obligating Texas officials to reject foreign legal systems, including Sharia, and organizations like CAIR that act as domestic ideological insurgents;
    • Texas officials’ oath means tacit acquiescence to CAIR’s actions violates their oath, constituting treason (18 U.S.C.§ 2381) or seditious conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 2384).
    • Therefore, the People of Texas call upon their electe officials to defend the liberties and security of Texans; that all elected officials of the State of Texas and the United States, sworn to uphold the Texas Constitution and United States Constitution, respectively, are called upon to suspend all contact and outreach activities with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and it’s affiliates (this includes schools, police departments, city councils, and bureaucratic boards), and to actively oppose its agenda, which undermines constitutional principles through its documented ties to terrorist organizations and promotion of anti-constitutional ideologies.

    • Further, the People of Texas call upon their elected officials to honor their oaths of office by passing legislation designating CAIR a terrorist organization, whose actions terrorize the People, and whose actions and affiliations are wholly inconsistent with constitutional governance.

    • Elected Officials Take Notice: Failure to act against CAIR’s documented threats to constitutional governance constitutes a betrayal of the public trust and the oaths of office sworn by elected officials, and the People of Texas will hold their representatives accountable for upholding the rule of law and protecting the Republic.
