Through strong industry partnerships and problem based learning with real world application, students graduate ready to contribute to Colorado’s economy.

    Now, we are advancing a critical next step.

    STEM is preparing a relocation application to Littleton Public Schools to develop a purpose built STEM high school designed to improve the quality and expand access to our signature problem-based educational model advancing learning, industry collaborations, and workforce readiness. Learn more here.

    This move is the first domino in also improving the quality of STEM education at our current campus for our K-8th grade students by enhancing labs, collaborative learning spaces, and STEM+ opportunities.

    These improvements are vital in our flagship vision for these campuses which will result in additional STEM opportunities throughout Colorado, the nation, and the world. The glue that holds all of our learning is our STEM Student Showcase that connects real-world industry problems to STEM problem based learning.

    We want you to be apart of our impact story. This all starts with our relocation of the High School to Littleton and a key factor in our authorization is gathering local industry support for the project. Support from business and industry leaders is essential. Your voice helps demonstrate that expanding access and  quality in STEM education is both a community priority and an economic imperative much needed in the Colorado workforce infrastructure.

    {companyorganizationName} Support of Koson Network of Schools

    {date36}
    Mr. Matt Cartier, CEO
    Koson Schools/STEM Schools
    1101 W. Mineral Ave
    Littleton, CO 80120

    Dear Mr. Cartier,

    On behalf of {companyorganizationName}, I am writing to offer our endorsement of the Koson Network of Schools, beginning with its flagship campus, STEM School Highlands Ranch and the proposed relocation of STEM High School.

    As a Colorado-based industry leader, we are deeply invested in the future of our state’s workforce. The projected increase in STEM-related jobs by 2030 highlights the urgent need for innovative, real-world education models that equip students with the skills, mindsets, and experiences required for success in modern careers.

    STEM School Highlands Ranch has demonstrated a proven ability to deliver on this need through a problem-based, STEM-focused approach that engages students in solving real-world challenges in collaboration with industry professionals. This model not only prepares students academically, but also fosters the critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills that are essential in the workplace.

    We believe the expansion of this model through the Koson Network of Schools is vital for Colorado’s economic future. It represents an opportunity to align K–12 education more directly with the needs of Colorado’s industries and ensure students across the state have access to an education that inspires, empowers, and prepares them for meaningful careers.

    We respectfully urge school district leaders to approve the Koson Network of Schools’ charter application and support the creation of more problem-based STEM schools throughout Colorado. We are confident that these schools will have a lasting, positive impact on both students and the broader workforce.

    Sincerely,
