    We collect your details to keep things running smoothly — so we know who’s in the room, can keep you in the loop, and make sure everyone has a safe and great experience.

    We’ll use your email and mobile to send:
    • A welcome email (what to expect, what to bring, how it works)
    • Class updates and event info
    • The occasional “hey, you should come dancing tonight” message

    This may include being added to the New Lynn WhatsApp group for updates.

    Your info is stored securely and won’t be shared with third parties unless required by law. You can opt out or update your details anytime.

  • The Important Bits (Keeping it Fair & Fun)

    By joining Move Dance Co classes and events, you agree to the following:

    • You’re physically able to participate & will take responsibility for your own wellbeing
    • Dance is a physical activity and participation is at your own risk
    • If you’re unwell (especially cold or flu symptoms), please sit this one out at home — we may refuse entry to protect the group.

    Respect the space
    • Follow instructor guidance so everyone stays safe and has a good time
    • Be kind, inclusive, and respectful to others
    • Personal boundaries matter — anyone can decline a dance, no explanation needed
    • We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving inappropriately

    Keep it our space
    • No promoting or advertising other classes, events of any kind, or businesses during class without written permission

    Media
    • We may take photos/videos for social media and promotion
    • If you’d rather not be in them, just let us know — easy

    The practical stuff
    • No refunds or credits for missed classes
    • Classes may change or be cancelled if needed (we’ll keep you posted)
    • You may be responsible for any damage you cause to the venue or equipment

    • Wear comfortable clothing — layers work best as it warms up quickly
    • Shoes should be secure on your feet and easy to move in (smooth soles are ideal — avoid grippy sports shoes)

    Simple: be respectful, look after each other, and we’ll all have a great time.
