  • General Information

    We can't wait for this year's Vacation Bible School! Our theme this year is Wonder Junction: Marvel at Jesus, Live for His Glory! We'll be looking at the life of Jesus - his birth, childhood, ministry years, death and resurrection, and return - and showing kids the WONDER of his love for them! We're excited to partner once again with Vida Dallas to offer a bilingual English/Spanish VBS for kids ages 5 years through (completed) 6th grade. This year, we will also have childcare available for volunteers if your kids are too young to participate.

  • Meetings and Guidelines

    To put on an effective, joy-filled, and fun Vacation Bible School, the key ingredient is flexibility! That being said, we try to be as organized as possible so that when it's time to greet the kids each night, we're ready to go and can focus our attention on showing them God's love! We will have two key meetings we'd love for all volunteers to attend if possible: June 3rd and June 10th, both at 7:00pm. These are important to make sure we're all on the same page and are able to pray together, learn about each person's roles and responsibilities, and answer questions. If you're unable to make one or both of those meetings, please let us know so we can get the information to you privately. We will also have a nightly leader meeting at 6pm during VBS that we ask all volunteers to attend.

  • Volunteer Opportunities

    There are more than a dozen ways to serve at VBS. This is a wonderful opportunity to utilize your spiritual gifts and passions. Some roles are more up front, some are behind-the-scenes. They are all equally important and we are so grateful for your service! While certain roles require availability every night, if you are only able to come for some of the evenings, please let us know and we will work with your schedule!   • Where would you like to serve?

    *Note: Class Leaders will guide their group through various stations (crafts, story time, games, etc), and also help lead in a small group discussion to talk about the evening's lesson and give kids a chance to respond and ask questions. Each class will have several leaders, so you won't be alone! These roles are highly relational, and we ask volunteers in these positions to be enthusiastic and willing to take initiative with the kids in your group. Class leaders are the key people getting to know the kids personally and will have tremendous opportunity for evangelism!
