  • The Leadership (Fiji) Foundation is receiving applications for funding in the following areas; Child Development, Education, Food & Nutrition, Animal Protection, Development and Protection of Women and families, Leadership Training, Promoting Democracy, Free exchange of ideas/knowledge and Sustainable Community Environmental Projects.

  • Project Funding Criteria

    • You must be over the age of 18 and a citizen of Fiji – Individual Applicant.
    • Your group/organisation must be registered in Fiji and have an operational bank account in the Applicant’s group name – Organisation/Group Applicants.
    • Project proposals must be aligned to at least one of the thematic areas outlined below:
      • Child Development
      • Education
      • Food & Nutrition
      • Animal Protection
      • Development and Protection of Women and families
      • Leadership Training
      • Promoting Democracy, Free exchange of ideas/knowledge and
      • Sustainable Community Environmental Projects
    • The allocated funding does not cover administrative costs for the project including but not limited to traveling, wages, payment of superannuation funds, etc
    • The project proposals should be financially sustainable.
    • The project must have the capability of generating revenue or in the case of infrastructure easily and cheaply maintained.
    • Each applicant and/or recipient community can only submit one project per year.
    • Total funds requested for the community project must not exceed FJD 10,000 per project.
    • The project must be completed within one year from when the grant is given.

    Grant Exclusions

    Please note that the Leadership (Fiji) Foundation grant does not cover the following:

    • Meals and catering costs
    • Administrative overheads (including wages, salaries, superannuation, office expenses)
    • Logistics such as transportation, fuel, or vehicle hire.

    Applicants should ensure their proposals exclude these items, as they will not be considered eligible for funding.

    • Required Documents:
      • Complete and sign this Leadership (Fiji) Foundation Call for Proposal Application Form
      • Copy of Registration Certificate and/or Business License and/or support letter from the Roko of the Provincial Office (if it is a village-based group) and/or copy of Deed of Trust and/or any documentation validating the existence of the group/club/organisation and TIN Letter.
      • For Individual appplicants - One government issued ID (Drivers license, Voters Card, Passport) for individual applicants and TIN Letter or Joint FNPF FRCS Card.
      • Two quotations from the manufacturer / supplier and/or the service provider(s).
    • Project Management and Coordination:
      • An Agreement for funding will be signed between the Secretariat and successful applicants.
      • Project managers must provide a quarterly update of the project to the Leadership (Fiji) Foundation Secretariat in writing.
      • Successful applicants will be responsible for the implementation of the project activities with its project partners and are required to provide regular updates to the Leadership (Fiji) Foundation Secretariat.

  • To comply with our Leadership (Fiji) Foundation grant verification requirements, successful applicants will be contacted directly via phone or email to securely provide their identification documents. Please note: we do not collect sensitive identification details through this form.

     

    1. Required Documents (as referenced above):

    a. Copy of the Registration Certificate and/or Business License and/or support letter from the Roko of the Provincial Office (for village-based groups) and/or copy of Deed of Trust and/or any documentation verifying the existence of the group/club/organization, along with the TIN letter.


    2. Required Documents for Individual Applicants:

    b. One government-issued ID with a photo (Driver's License, Voter’s Card, or Passport) plus the TIN Letter or joint FNPF/FRCS Card.
