The B. LauRen Senior Year Scholarship Application (2025-2026)
This scholarship is in honor of the life of Ms. Bianca LauRen Brooks. Bianca was an active cheerleader during her high school years at E.E. Smith High School while attending Cross Creek Early College. A graduate in 2015, Bianca was passionate about helping others. She pursued her goals with passion and uniqueness. This scholarship serves to take away some of the early challenges students may face as they embark on their first steps into adulthood. The two chosen students will receive support for senior activities to include, but not limited to, senior dues, prom fees, cap and gown, college visits, applications, homecoming, ACT/SAT, senior week and other approved fees associated with senior year can be included. The information provided on this form will be used by the B. LauRen Scholarship Committee to select recipients for scholarships. One recipient will be chosen from both E.E. Smith High School and Cross Creek Early College. The chosen winners will be notified on June 19, 2025. Recipients will then be invited to a presentation on August 16, 2025. Details will be shared prior to the start of the students' senior year with students, parents/guardians, and the administration at each respected high school. It is important that you give complete details concerning plans for your senior year, activities and financial assistance information. Within the essay students should include how the scholarship will help them achieve their educational and career goals, along with how this assistance will help make a difference for you during the next academic year.
