• Adapted ASSIST-Lite drug, alcohol and tobacco screening tool for mental health settings

  • Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Tool Lite (ASSIST-Lite) is an alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, stimulants, sedatives, opioids and psychoactive substances screening tool. It has been modified and licensed for use in health and social care settings in the UK and included in the mental health services dataset.1 There is a version of this tool adapted for health and social care settings. Permission to use this copyrighted tool must be secured by following NHS Digital processes.2
