    In celebration of EMS Week 2025 — "We Care. For Everyone." — the South Carolina EMS Association invites you to honor an EMS professional or EMS agency who made a difference in your life or community.
  • All submissions require a written description:

    • Who you are (mom, dad, sibling, patient, EMS agency, etc.)
    • Who you are honoring
      • Full name of the EMS provider and their agency or the full name of the EMS agency if honoring a team
    • A written message
      • "Hi, my name is Sarah Thompson, and last year I needed emergency care after a serious allergic reaction.
        I want to thank John Davis from Lexington County EMS for his quick response and compassionate care.
        Because of him and his team, I received the treatment I needed and made a full recovery.
        I’m forever grateful to the EMS professionals who are there for us when every second counts."
      • "Hi, I’m Mark Williams, a longtime resident of Greenville.
        I’m proud to support Greenville County EMS and the dedicated paramedics and EMTs who serve our community every day.
        Whether it’s responding to a 911 call or helping during local events, they show up with professionalism and heart.
        Thank you for being the backbone of emergency care in our community."

  • Photo Guidelines:

    • Submit a clear, high-resolution photo (no blurry, dark, or pixelated images)
    • Landscape (horizontal) preferred
    • File Size: Under 20MB
    • File Types Accepted: JPG or PNG

    Video Guidelines:

    • Video Length: 30–60 seconds
    • Orientation: Record in landscape (horizontal) mode if possible
    • File Size: Must be under 20MB
    • File Types Accepted: MP4 or MOV
    • Audio/Video Quality: Speak clearly and check for good lighting and minimal background noise
    • Tone: Be yourself — speak naturally, from the heart

    If submitting a video, please include:

    • Who you are (Example: "I’m John's mom," "I’m a former patient," "I’m with XYZ EMS.")
    • Who you are honoring
      • If an individual: their full name and the name of their EMS agency
      • If an agency: the full name of the EMS agency you are recognizing
    • A short message
      • "Hi, I’m Lisa Carter, and I’m the proud mom of Brandon Carter, a paramedic with Lexington County EMS.
        Watching Brandon dedicate himself to helping others has been incredible.
        I know the hours are long and the work is tough, but he shows up every day with heart and compassion.
        I’m so proud of the difference he’s making in people’s lives.
        Thank you to Brandon and to all of our EMS heroes for caring for everyone, every day."
