  • ST Croix: Dive Event Registration

Join us in the water on Saturday, June 7th for a coral restoration dive event!
  • In honor of World Reef Awareness & World Ocean's Days, we are celebrating Coralpalooza™ 2025!

The St Croix registration form includes dive operators SCUBA and Blue Salt Divers in Christiansted.

    Each dive event registration includes:

    • Two tank dive event registration for the morning of Saturday, June 7th, two standard air tanks and weights
    • Rental gear is available free of charge to participating divers if needed
    • Invitation to evening social event at Common Cents Pub on Saturday, June 7th at 5:30PM
    • Coralpalooza™ 2025 event shirt

Only certified SCUBA divers will be able to participate in hands-on restoration activities, which may include cleaning coral structures in our coral nursery or outplanting "reef ready" corals on Long Reef.

All registering SCUBA divers and snorkelers MUST:

    • Have been diving in the past year. If more than two years have lapsed, a SCUBA refresher is required
    • Be over 12 years of age, with all minors accompanied by an adult in the same activity
    • Attend a virtual training orientation prior to the event, with dates to be confirmed

    Some helpful FAQs:

    • Participants can request buddies and one of the specified operators above in the "notes" section below.
    • Registrants will randomly be assigned a participating dive operator or per request (requests cannot be guaranteed). If you are diving with a separate registrant, please include their name in the "notes" below and we will do our best to place you on a boat together.
    • If you do not have a buddy, one will be assigned.
    • Rental equipment can be acquired from the dive operator you are assigned to at no additional cost, and please advise of tank requests like nitrox or different sizes.
    • If you are a newly certified diver, we strongly advise that you gain some experience prior to joining in this event!

Coralpalooza™ is a celebration of our coral reefs where we plan to carry out coral restoration activities such as coral nursery maintenance, coral monitoring or even coral outplanting! All activities are weather dependent for the safety of participants and best health of corals and can never be guaranteed. In the case of inclement weather resulting in unsafe diving or restoration conditions, boat activities may be cancelled with no alternate date.
