  • FAQ

    Common questions about my services
    • What kind of pets can you care for?
    • I have experience caring for a variety of pets in many different circumstances. I care for rescues with trauma, disabled pets, senior pets, and pets with behavior issues. I am experienced with dogs, cats, domestic rodents, most common reptile pet species, and even some farm animals.

If you are concerned that I will not be able to care for your pet, feel free to reach out! I am happy to discuss care needs and options, or refer you to a sitter who is better suited for your animal.

    • How often do you give text updates?
    • I offer 3 options for text updates during a sit:

      • Once a day (morning or evening)
      • Twice a day (morning AND evening)
      • With notable care (after eating, walking, medication, ect)
    • What if I need you to start/end outside of 8am-9pm?
    • I am happy to work with you on start or end times, but it will depend on my availability. Any start or end time outside standard service hours (8am-9pm) will also be charged an additional fee from $15-25 depending on the time needed and commute distance

    • What if I need you to stay longer because of an emergency?
    • If I am available, I am happy to stay longer in an emergency. If I am booked, I may be able to provide care visits instead, but I must honor previously booked clients first. I am not able to help, I will do my best to help you find someone to cover.

    • Where do you sleep during overnight care?
    • If I am caring for your pet overnight, I will require somewhere to sleep. This can be a bed, pull-out couch, or air mattress. I will also need a room that is separated from the pet to store my belongings. These things will be discussed during the free pre-service introduction visit, along with any boundaries you have for my stay in your home.
