DGKEF is a foundation supporting mining-related careers. Below are qualifying areas of study:

College or University applicants interested in pursuing a field of study with a demonstrated capacity to pursue and complete a college and university degree in a mineral resources-related degree programs, including: Engineering (e.g., mining, metallurgical, geological, civil, chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental), Geology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology and Health and Occupational Safety.

Vocational applicants interested in pursuing a field of study with a demonstrated capacity to pursue vocational education degrees and occupational endorsements in the following occupations are relevant to the mineral resource industry: Electrician, Welding, Mechanic (e.g., light and heavy duty mechanic, millwright, powerhouse mechanic, water treatment plant operator, heavy equipment operator, logistics and supply chain, plumbing and heating, control room operator, and information technology.

Additional eligibility requirements:

• Eligible applicants may also not receive Kuskokwim Educational Foundation scholarships.
• Students are required to have a minimum 2.0 GPA and maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher to remain eligible for continued support.
• Must have attained a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Be admitted into an accredited post-secondary or vocational training program
• Be a TKC Shareholder
• Complete the required application and materials

MEDIA AUTHORIZATION & ELIGIBILITY/AUTHORIZATION FORM

Media Authorization Agreement I, the undersigned, do hereby grant DGKEF, TKC, or Donlin Gold LLC and their respective agents and assigns the right and permission to use and/or publish my name, photographs, voices, and video images for any and all purposes. This right and permission extends to uses in all forms of media, including, but not limited to, television, radio, newsletters, print publications, advertisements, and other print media, internet, website and social media of all forms, and all forms of video and audio presentations.

I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or text that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied. I forever release, discharge, and agree to hold DGKEF and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns harmless from any liability by virtue of any use covered by this authorization and release. Furthermore, I understand that no monetary compensation will be provided for the use of such materials.

Eligibility/Release Authorization Agreement

I hereby attest that the information that all the information that I have provided and which is contained in this application is true, correct and complete. I understand that this application does not commit the Donlin Gold Kuskokwim Education Foundation to award an educational scholarship. I also understand that the action of DGKEF is final.

I hereby authorize the release of any information or portion of this application by the KEF staff as is necessary to assist me in obtaining financial assistance, which may include TKC or its subsidiary companies. I understand that official paper transcripts must be received in order to complete the application package. I further understand that electronic versions of transcripts are not acceptable. I understand that my application must be complete and received on or prior to the deadline to be considered.
