I will strive to attend as many of the monthly meetings/events as possible. I will respond promptly to LDEI meeting notifications and event invitations. Between meetings, I will network and connect with fellow Dames via e-mail or phone as appropriate.

I will pay annual dues of $200 due by 5pm on August 1st. If dues payment is not possible by this date, I will notify the Treasurer ahead of the deadline. I understand that my membership is revoked if dues are not paid on time.

I will respond promptly to LDEI notifications and event invitations.

I will support Les Dames d’Escoffier in my community and find ways to actively promote the Chapter and participate in the organization..

I will volunteer on committees if asked and lend my expertise as needed.

I will become familiar with essential LDEI policy as it relates to governance, business conduct and conflicts of interest.

I understand that as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, no member is allowed to receive any financial benefit from our in-person or online activities.

If I am on a committee, I shall contact committee chairs when I am unable to attend committee meetings and keep informed of activities and future meeting dates via e-mails, texts and/or phone calls.

I will be an advocate for Les Dames d’Escoffier to other organizations and individuals that might be able to assist in volunteering, fundraising, community partnerships or other supportive roles, e.g. donations (financial, food or beverage). I will recommend and recruit funding prospects (corporate, foundation, individual, food donor, items needed for special events, etc.) when possible.

I understand the important role I play in the organization and will do my best to live up to my commitment as a key stakeholder of the organization.
