Education Booth Registration for Empower South Dakota Conference

August 8-9, 2025, Sioux Falls Convention Center
The South Dakota Diabetes Coalition (SDDC) is excited to share this opportunity to support those living with diabetes or prediabetes and those who care for patients with diabetes. The SDDC is partnering with the South Dakota Department of Health, Diabetes Program to host this event.

The Empower Conference is for those living with diabetes, family members of those with diabetes, and those with prediabetes or looking to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes.

Purpose of the Conference:
- Learn about diabetes care and management
- Connect with others affected by the disease
- Meet with vendors who support the treatment and management of the disease
Attendance Expected:
- 400-600 South Dakotans affected by diabetes
With keynote presentations and breakout sessions on a variety of topics that apply to type 1, type 2, and prediabetes, participants can choose the topic that meets them where they are at in their journey with diabetes.

The hope is that this will become an annual event that can potentially change regional locations.
