Food Bank Conduct & Guidelines
To keep things fair, respectful, and efficient:
- Snacks must be kept and eaten only in the storage room. Volunteers should not eat in public or client areas while shoppers are present.
- Volunteers eligible to shop may do so only once per day, either before opening or when there are no active shoppers—and must follow the same rules as all other clients.
- Special treatment is not permitted. Every shopper is to be treated equally, with no exceptions.
- If you see something that needs to be addressed, report it to Lora, Cindy, or Mary—they will handle it appropriately.
- Directions from staff leaders must be followed. Their guidance ensures smooth operation and fairness for everyone involved.
