How often do hit the fairways?
Whenever the mood strikes, but my schedule is as unpredictable as my tee shots.
Usually a few times a month, and I like to book ahead.
I'm a fairweather golfer - I avoid playing in the winter!
I try and play at least once a week.

How do you plan your golfing days out?
Always last minute. If the weather's good, let's go!
We normally book in advance, but like to be able to reschedule.
My rounds are pretty much set in stone each month.
I rely on my friends to organise our tee times.

How do you feel about signing up for long-term membership?
No chance, I prefer to 'pay as you go'.
If my membership can be cancelled anytime then I'm more likely to sign up.
I only like to play in the summer - why would I sign up for a whole year?
No problem, a year's contract is often the best value for money.

You show up to the first tee looking like...
A meticulously dressed tour pro - only the latest togs will do.
You raided the lost and found bin, but you're here to PLAY!
Like you just stepped off the cover of "Golf Digest"... but from 1985.
I don't care about the latest trends - I just chuck on what's comfortable.

Your golfing pals are planning a last-minute twilight round. What's your immediate thought?
Sweet, if I'm free, I'm on the tee.
Hmm, let me check my calendar... and the weather forecast.
Awesome! It's already been way too long since yesterday's round.
Only if we can get a buggy, I've got places to be.

Do you like the idea of a rolling monthly membership that you can cancel anytime?
No way! I only want to pay when I play.
I prefer to pay annually for membership, as it's usually better value for money.
That sounds fine, it encourages me to play more often.
Perfect! I can play in the summer then cancel it in the winter.

Imagine a month where the weather is terrible and you can't play at all. How would you feel about having already paid for golf that month?
Annoyed! I'd feel like I wasted my money.
A little frustrated, but I'd hope to make up for it next month.
It wouldn't bother me too much, I know it averages out over time.
That's exactly why I don't have a golf membership!

What kind of perks or extras would excite you in a golf membership?
Just being able to play when I like is enough for me.
Maybe some discounts on buggies or guest green fees would be cool.
Access to competitions, and trying to lower my handicap.
Reciprocal play at other courses would be awesome.

How attached are you to playing at one golf course?
I like variety – exploring different courses keeps things interesting.
I like my local course where everyone knows my name.
As long as there are 18 holes and a halfway hut, I'm good.
It would be awesome to have a "home" club, but with playing rights at others.
