Horizon (Distance) Guidelines- 2 handlers are allowed on the dock.- In each round, you will have 2 jumps that must be completed within 3 minutes. The jump recorded for that round will be the longest jump. Lap Dog Designation: Any dog 16" or less at the withers. Measured at 24 months or older.Legend - 8 yrs old at the start of the calendar year. (January 1st)- Legend divisions are the same as Open class however, they are only ranked against other Legend dogs.- If the dog meets the Lap & Legend requirements, Lap takes precedence. There is no Lap Legend division at this time. Eclipse (HR/HT) - A game where the bumper is suspended over the pool, at different distances, and the dog is required to knock the bumper down. Velocity (Hydro/Speed) - A game that records the time in which a dog can retrieve a bumper tossed into the end of the pool. Open class Handlers throw their toy past the 36’ mark on the pool. Lap Class Handlers throw the toy past the 29’ mark on the pool.

HORIZON Fun Finals will be offered at this event following Sunday's Horizon round with awards for the top 3 in each division .Fun Final results are not reported to IDS for titling or placements. The Fun Final is free to enter, however a minimum of 2 Horizon rounds over the course of the weekend is required to be eligible for Fun Finals.**Please DO NOT include Fun Finals in your total number of rounds in the payment section.

GENERAL RELEASE OF LIABILITY In consideration of being permitted to participate in an International Dog Sports, LLC. event (“Event”), the above signed Owner releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue International Dog Sports, LLC., including its owners, members, directors, employees, and volunteers for any damage to their person or property resulting from any accident or incident at the event. The Owner agrees that the facility holding the Event has the right to refuse entry for any cause which the facility shall deem sufficient. Assumption of Risk: Participation in the Event carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary from one Event to another, but the risks range from 1) minor injuries such as scratches, bruises, and sprains; 2) major injuries such as eye injury or loss of sight, joint or back injuries, heart attacks, and concussions; 3) catastrophic injuries including paralysis and death, and 4) injury to personal property including their pet. I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand, and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in the Event. I hereby assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks. Indemnification and Hold Harmless: I also agree to INDEMNIFY AND HOLD International Dog Sports, LLC. HARMLESS from all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Event and to reimburse them for any such expenses incurred. Severability: The undersigned further expressly agrees that the foregoing release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the law of the State of Ohio and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shall, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect. International Dog Sports, LLC. is not responsible for any errors on the entry form or any errors made by International Dog Sports, LLC. Photos: I grant International Dog Sports, LLC., and its affiliated companies, representatives, sponsors, the right to license, reproduce, distribute, and display all photographs, videos, and digital images of myself and my dog at the Event. Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. I acknowledge that the terms of this contract are a complete and final agreement between myself and International Dog Sports, LLC. and is to be construed under Ohio law.
