Trip Registration - Decarbonizing the Gas System, Study Tour to Northern Europe, October 2025

Thank you for your interest in i-SUSTAIN’s study tour, “Decarbonizing the Gas System,” to take place October 19 to 25, 2025. We are excited that you will be joining us.
Study Tour Cost (All prices are listed in USD)

AIRFARE TO/FROM EUROPE IS NOT INCLUDED, EXCEPT FOR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS.

Approved scholarship recipients, double occupancy: no charge, but you may be responsible for one meal per day. Airfare will be reimbursed up to $1,200, to be paid within two weeks after the trip. On October 24, 2025 there will be an in-person meeting to discuss how the insights you gained from the trip could have relevance for our region. Full participation in this meeting is required to receive your travel reimbursement. Any exceptions must be approved in advance.

Single occupancy upgrade for scholarship recipients: $1,295

Regular registration price, single occupancy included: $7,595

Late registration price, single occupancy included: $7,995
(For registration form or full payment received after August 22, 2025)

NGO rate: On a case-by-case basis i-SUSTAIN will consider providing a 50% discount for staff from registered 501(c)(3) NGOs.

The registration fee includes:
- Hotel (4 star or best available)
- Breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day
- The program: all site visits and presentations
- All program-related transportation
Guest Rate: $2,995

The guest rate includes shared accommodations with your participant, all breakfasts and group dinners, and between city transportation within Scandinavia. It does not include participating in the program itself, including site visits and meetings. No alternative programming is provided for guests. If you are paying the guest rate, you do not pay the single occupancy surcharge.

Important Travel Insurance Information

i-SUSTAIN recommends that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against financial loss in the case of cancellation or interruption of the trip, medical or personal emergencies or other unforeseen events that may cause you to have to change your travel plans.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel for any reason before September 16, 2025, 50% of any funds paid to i-SUSTAIN that have not already used by i-SUSTAIN to cover the cost of non-refundable expenses can be applied for up to 24 months toward the cost of another i-SUSTAIN study tour. If registrant does not participate in an i-SUSTAIN study tour within 24 months, or cancels the current trip for any reason on or after September 16, 2025, all funds may be forfeited at i‑SUSTAIN’s discretion.

If you cancel at any time but are able to secure a replacement who registers for this trip and pays in full, any funds you have paid to i-SUSTAIN that have not already been used by i-SUSTAIN to cover the cost of non-refundable expenses will be refunded in full.

I agree that i-SUSTAIN is not liable for any additional expenses that I may have incurred, such as airfare.
