Bursary/Scholarship Application

Vancouver Rangers Bursary/Scholarship Applications for the 2025/26 season will be opened on April 29th, 2025 and will close on June 30th, 2025. All bursary/scholarship recipients will be notified by July 15th, 2025.

Welcome to our Vancouver Rangers FC Bursary/Scholarship Application. The intention is to provide families who would not otherwise be able to attend a Rangers season the opportunity to enroll their player in our Fall/Winter season.

We consider family size, income, and/or extenuating circumstances when offering bursary participation. Personal statements are essential to the decision-making process and are included in the application.

The applicant must:

Explain their financial hardship or need. Please note, proof of hardship or income (e.g. previous year’s tax return and/or three consecutive current pay stubs) may be requested.
Be applying for a child between the ages of 5-12.

This application does not guarantee your award, as there are a limited amount to be distributed each year. Please read through the following Terms and Conditions before completing the application.

Our bursary/scholarship fund has a pre-determined amount of funding for the season and will be distributed, depending on number of applicants, as full or partial cover for the cost of our Fall/Winter season.
Applications must be completely filled out to be considered.
One bursary/scholarship per family per year.
We do not provide soccer equipment – all player must bring their own cleats and shinguards.
Families awarded a bursary/scholarship will be able to use the funding for the current year only. Awards cannot be carried over to another season, transferred to another child, or family.
Priority is given to families with lower incomes. Proof of hardship or income (e.g. previous year’s tax return and/or three consecutive current pay stubs) may be requested.
Financial assistance will not be applied to previously purchased sessions - all paid sessions are considered final and subject to our cancellation policy.

We will contact you directly to let you know when award decisions have been made. Please do not call or email about the status of your application.
