  • Please note: 

    • The following is a booking request, not confirmation of your booking.
    • The club can be hired out outside of our peak operational season, off-peak is April (after Easter) - October (until labour weekend).
    • As a charity and community club we hire out the venue to club members and the community and this money goes back to the club for operational costs.
    • We are an active Surf Life Saving Club and Lifesaving is our core business.
    • Being an active Surf Club means if there was a call out during your event they would take priority for access and be stationed downstairs under the club.
    • There are some 'non-approved' cases when the club will not be hired out, these include, but are not limited to; birthday parties for under 30yr olds, Stag nights, or Hens' nights.

  • Additional Costs:

    • Cleaning Fee – flat fee $180.00 per hire (applies to some events when bar is being hired or whole club hireage) 
    • Bond - $300.00 - covers key card access which must be returned (applies to some events when bar is being hired or whole club hireage, and for the bunkroom hire)
    • Bar Sales Tab (if applicable) - for your choice of our products and tab limit.

  • SPECIAL LIQUOR LICENSE 
    With the liquor license, the club must provide details on the catering from the group hiring the facility.  Catering needs to be provided and organised by the hirer and offered in a timely manner over the course of the event. 

    A detailed menu must be outlined and sent through to Omanu Beach SLSC prior to the event. This information is required at least 25 days days in advance so a special liquor license can be submitted to Tauranga City Council.  

  • Payments:

    Invoices will be sent to your email address, please pay a deposit of 50% promptly within 7 days to secure your booking.
    Use your Event Name as a reference, and Venue Hire as the code. 

    The balance of the hire fees are required 7 days prior to your bookin, use the same reference as with your deposit.

    We can take credit card or Eftpos payments online, please note there will be a 2.5% surcharge to all credit card payments.

  • Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee your event. Only once a contract has been created and signed plus a deposit received will your space be reserved. Full payment is due at least 7 days before your event.
