We’re looking for a friendly and dedicated Barista to join our team and help create memorable moments with every drink served.

     
    Job Summary:

    As a Barista at Summer Moon Coffee, you’ll be the face of our brand—bringing exceptional customer service and a genuine enthusiasm for coffee to every guest interaction. You’ll prepare and serve our signature drinks, including a variety of coffee and tea beverages, while fostering a high-energy, positive experience for every customer.     Key Responsibilities:

    •Prepare and serve Summer Moon’s signature drinks, including Moon Milk lattes, espresso-based beverages, and tea selections.

    •Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a memorable experience.

    •Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu and promote additional items such as pastries, merchandise, and seasonal specials.

    •Ensure all coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is clean and well-maintained.

    •Keep the coffee bar and seating areas tidy, clean, and inviting.

    •Accurately operate the POS system and handle transactions efficiently.

    •Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth, efficient service—especially during high-traffic times.

    •Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, maintaining a high level of hygiene and food safety.

    •Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.

    •Assist with restocking and maintaining inventory levels; notify management when supplies run low.

     
    Requirements:

    •A genuine passion for coffee and excellent customer service.

    •Previous barista or fast-paced customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

    •Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

    •Strong communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.

    •Flexible availability—including weekends and holidays.

    •Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

    •Comfortable handling cash and making change quickly and accurately.
