    Registration Instructions

    1. All competition equipment and computers are arranged by the participating teams.
    2. The list of participants and competition schedule will be announced on June 30th on the competition website.
    3. The meeting will send an acceptance notice to the responsible teacher via email on or before June 30.
    4. If the competition needs to be postponed or canceled for any reason, including the Education Bureau announcing a suspension of classes in all schools or the Observatory issuing a severe weather warning, the event organizers will not provide any refunds for students who are unable to participate.
    5. Fees paid are non-refundable for any reason, including absence from the competition due to illness or participation in school activities.
    6. The organizing body reserves the right to modify all rules of the competition and retains final decision-making authority on any disputes.

    Eligibility to compete

    1. Students participating in the competition must be enrolled in courses offered by the Hong Kong Institute of Robotics for the 2024/25 academic year.；
    2. Teams can participate in the competition format (2-4 people). For details, please refer to the competition rules. There is no limit to the number of teams from each school.；
    3. Participants must be nominated by a school teacher and the teacher must complete the registration.。

    Competition Group

    • Junior → Ages 9-12 
    • Senior → Ages 13-18

    Entry fee

    - HK$1200 per team (2-4 people per team)
    - The participating invoice will be issued together with your completed registration.

    • Competition rules and terms:

      1. Participants must carefully read the competition terms and conditions. Submitting an application indicates that the participant agrees to abide by and accept the relevant terms and arrangements.
      2. Participants must ensure that the information on the registration form is correct. For any modifications, an administrative fee of HK$200 will be charged each time.
      3. All participants are not eligible for a refund once successfully registered. Fees for duplicate registrations will not be refunded, and event slots are not transferable to other applicants.
      4. The organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to force majeure. Registered teams can retain their participation slots for the next year's event, and registration fees will not be refunded.
      5. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates, breaches, or fails to comply with any event regulations. Registration fees for disqualified participants will not be refunded.
      6. The organizers have the right to use any photos, videos, and event records related to the activity for any legal purpose, including event promotion, online voting, and publishing competition results.
      7. The organizer reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the conference. Any temporary changes regarding the event will be announced on the event website. In case of any disputes, the organizer retains the final decision-making authority.
