VICFA SPACES
The IAFA welcomes volunteers to moderate academic, creative, hybrid, and special sessions. You will introduce your session’s presenters, keep track of presentation times, and moderate discussion in the question-and-answer period

I wish to moderate a VICFA 4 session. VICFA planners will be in touch with session and presenter
The IAFA welcomes volunteers to monitor programming streams during the conference. Please note that a stream monitor is not a session moderator. You will make sure that the stream is open and accessible for your assigned time slot

I wish to serve as a Counter Space, Deep Space, or Interstellar Space stream monitor. VICFA planners will be in touch with available day/time slots and access information.
COUNTER SPACE

I wish to present in the Counter Space Stream.
The BIPOC caucus hosts both Counter Space and Brave Space events. Counter Space is an international and transracial Think Tank and creative haven where the BIPOC Caucus hosts events including conversations known as Brave Spaces. Anyone is welcome to submit a proposal indicating a preference to present in the Counter Space. Additionally, the VICFA Counter Space offers a single stream cost-free registration option for participants.

I wish to participate in a VICFA 4 Brave Space session, which will be hosted by the BIPOC Caucus in the Counter Space Stream.
Brave Space is a type of conversation intended to regulate and dignify an exchange of vulnerable questions and sensitive answers about racial bias and the pain of transforming traditions of privilege into shared opportunities, among other topics that have to do with race and ethnicity in historically colonized spaces and contexts.
