    • A spirit of experimentation. Willingness to embrace experimentation, a bias towards action, and a willingness to try new things.
    • Contextual Awareness. Thoughtful plan for addressing social and ethical aspects of institutional wellbeing initiatives.
    • Sustainability. Description of ways in which this initiative and its engagement with the Coalition will create lasting change on the institution’s campus and contribute to the Coalition’s goal of transforming higher education.
    • Adaptability. Clear indication of the ways in which the institution’s efforts to transform education to enhance long-term wellbeing can be adapted to other institutions or educational contexts.

      • Development of one (or more) of the core elements of students’ long-term wellbeing: How does this initiative help students develop a sense of identity, belonging, agency, character, and/or purpose which are critical to achieving life-long flourishing and wellbeing?
      • Scalability: How might the activities included in your initiative be scaled within your institution (either currently or in the future)?

  • Assessment Activities

  • Describe how the initiative (or initiatives) are currently assessed, or your plan to assess the effectiveness of the initiative. Please include a description of measures, emphasizing any aligned with the Coalition’s focus on lifelong wellbeing (listed in our Assessment Guidelines, here). Outcomes relevant to the mission of the Coalition could include: a sense of identity, purpose, agency of self-efficacy, and belonging, emotionally supportive mentoring or experiential learning that connects curriculum to authentic real-world applications or problems. Please explain how the assessment will be used to refine and expand the proposed project.
