  • About Your Art

  • 3AVAILABILITY

  • Attendance: If you’re unable to attend a First Friday Art Walk you signed up for, please provide two weeks’ notice of your absence or coordinate a replacement person to attend in your booth. Two unexcused absences will result in dismal from the First Friday Art Walk season.

  • SUBMIT SAMPLES OF YOUR ART

  • Please provide three high resolution images (JPEG), videos, and/or audio files of your work/performances. Also, please provide one presentation-ready artwork and one example of your booth setup for visual artists.

  • Send images to: artinfo@ocalafl.gov or mail or deliver a flash drive with images to:
    Cultural Arts, 201 SE 3rd St, 2nd Floor, Ocala, FL 34471
    Mailed/delivered items will not be returned. Submitted images are not required to be at each First Friday Art Walk event but must accurately represent the type of work displayed. By submitting this application and your images, you’re giving permission to the City of Ocala to utilize the images for promotional purposes. The City of Ocala reserves the right to use photographic images of visual/performing artists and their work for advertising purposes only.

  • Individual Artist:

    $30 application fee + $25 registration fee + optional $75 Location Lock fee (subject to availability, City, and downtown business approval)

    Gallery (more than one artist together):

    $30 application fee + $80 registration fee + optional $100 Location Lock fee

    Please pay application and registration fees with credit/debit card online*, by phone on (352) 629-8447 or by check to:

    *An invoice will be sent in a separate email

    In the event of denial, the $30 application and $75 location lock fees will be refunded.

  • ***Fees are waived for performing artists at First Friday Art Walk***

  • AGREE AND SIGN

  • Deadline: To participate in the complete season of First Friday Art Walk, applications are due: September 2, 2025. For the remaining season, First Friday Art Walk application deadline is the first day of the month prior to the next First Friday Art Walk for review and processing. (i.e. October 1 is the deadline for November Art Walk) Applications are reviewed on a rolling monthly basis throughout the Art Walk season. Notification of acceptance or denial are sent by the 15 day of the month prior to Art Walk.

    Applications and images/videos/audio files are reviewed by the First Friday Art Walk Steering Committee. First Friday Art Walk and the Committee reserve the right to refuse an application from anyone for any reason. All decisions are made at the discretion of the City of Ocala’s Cultural Arts Division.
