      Instructor: Dr. Nutt

      Qualifications: PhD in Immunology,  Univerty at Buffalo, NY

      Bio: Born in Thailand, Dr. Nutt is passionate about teaching and training the young generation of scientists. She just relocated to Columbus for her post-doctoral training in Cancer Immunology at the Nationwide Children's Hospital. 

      Dr. Nutt enjoys inspiring students to explore their curiosity in the fields of sciences. Outside the lab, she enjoys reading hiking and cooking different types of cultural food.

    • 🤖 AI Explorers – Part 1 (Introductory)

      Dive into the world of Artificial Intelligence with this fun, hands-on camp!

      Students will explore AI through age-appropriate activities, coding challenges, and games — no prior experience needed, just curiosity and creativity.

      We group activities by grade (Grades 3–5 and Grades 6–8) to keep every camper engaged at the right level.

      🧠 What Campers Will Explore:

      • What AI is and how it's used in daily life
      • Hands-on experience with image and speech recognition tools
      • Build a simple chatbot or game using beginner-friendly coding platforms
      • Train an AI model to recognize colors, shapes, or emojis
      • Design and present their own AI-powered projects
      • Campers will build confidence with technology, gain a strong foundation in machine learning, and spark a passion for innovation.

      🚐 Field Trips:
      Exciting field trips are being planned to complement camp activities. Details will be shared with registered families closer to camp dates.

      Ready to take your AI skills to the next level? In this exciting second part of the camp, students will build on what they learned in Part 1 by diving into more creative and challenging projects — exploring how AI can make decisions, create art, and solve real-world problems.

      Activities are grouped by grade level (Grades 3–5 and Grades 6–8) to ensure campers are challenged appropriately while having fun.

      🧠 What Campers Will Explore:

      • Deeper AI concepts like decision-making and ethical design
      • Build AI-powered helpers using coding and creative thinking
      • Create AI-generated art and interactive projects
      • Solve real-world challenges with their own AI innovations
      • Present a final project demonstrating their understanding and creativity

      Spark your child's creativity and business skills in this fun, hands-on camp! Campers will learn how to create, manage, and grow a business while building important life skills like financial literacy, teamwork, and pitching ideas.

      • Entrepreneurship Basics: What makes a successful business
      • Financial Literacy: Budgeting, saving, and managing money
      • Business Plan Creation: Setting goals and strategies

      Boost your child's confidence and communication skills in this fun camp designed to teach public speaking. They’ll learn how to speak with clarity and passion, building skills that will serve them for life.

      • Good Speaker Traits: Body language, tone, and articulation
      • Confidence Building: Overcome nerves and speak confidently
      • Speech Writing: Crafting engaging and effective speeches

      🏆 Event (TBA): Will be included in a Public Speaking Showcase where each child presents a speech to peers, parents, and instructors, receiving feedback and recognition.

      Camps are available in two time slots:
      AM: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
      PM: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

      Example: If you select 1 camp before May 15, your total will be $204 ($179 + $25).
      After May 15, it will be $254 ($229 + $25) per camp.

      1. What is the cost per camp?

      Each camp is $179 if you register before May 15, 2025. After May 15, the price is $229 per camp. Additionally, there is a $25 material fee per camp.

      2. Can my child attend both AM and PM sessions?

      No, parents can choose either the AM (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) or PM (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM) session, but not both for the same week.

      3. Can I register my child for camps at different locations?

      Yes, you can register for camps at any of our three locations (Dublin, Polaris, and Powell), but please note that for each week, your child can only attend one location.

      4. What is the Early Bird Pricing?

      The Early Bird pricing is $179 per camp, available only until May 15, 2025. After May 15, the price increases to $229 per camp.

      5. What should my child bring to camp?

      All students should bring a water bottle, and any materials indicated in the pre-camp instructions sent to you by email. Please make sure your child is dressed comfortably for learning!

      6. Will there be snacks provided?

      Yes, we will provide a snack during the camp break. However, your child is welcome to bring their own snack, provided it is nut-free. Please note that we are a nut-free facility, so snacks containing nuts should not be brought.

      6. How will I receive confirmation of my registration?

      Once you complete the registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation email detailing your selected camps, payment, and camp information.

      • All camp registrations are non-refundable unless the camp is canceled by us.
      • Camps must be paid in full at the time of registration to confirm enrollment.
      • Timely drop-off and pick-up are required. Late pickups may incur a fee.
      • A minimum of 4 students is required per camp. We may kindly ask you to switch camps to keep things fun and full! If you're unable to switch and the camp is canceled due to low enrollment, you'll receive a full refund.
      • We are a nut-free facility. Please avoid sending snacks or lunches with nuts.
      • Best Brains reserves the right to remove a student from camp if behavior disrupts the class or poses a safety risk.
      • We may take photos/videos for promotion. Let us know if you prefer to opt out.
