  • FY25 State CAC Supplemental Funding Application

  • The Idaho Council on Domestic Violence and Victim Assistance (ICDVVA) has been awarded supplemental state funding for the purpose of supporting child advocacy centers.

    No match is required for these supplemental grant subawards. 

    Supplemental State CAC awards covering the period from July 1, 2025, to September 30, 2025, will only be open to existing ICDVVA subrecipients. Existing subawards with ICDVVA will be amended to include State CAC funds. Please assume that newly awarded State CAC funds will be swapped for previously awarded VOCA or FVPSA funds. 

    New applicants will be eligible to apply for State CAC funds, but these new subawards will not begin until October 1, 2025. The application links for FY26 awards are available here: https://icdv.idaho.gov/grantees/voca-and-family-violence-grant-application/

     

  • Eligible Applicants

    Eligible applicants are programs operated by a public, tribal, or nonprofit organization who provide child advocacy services to crime victims. 

    Idaho Statute defines a children's advovacy center as "an organization that adheres to national best practice standards established by the national membership and accrediting body for children’s advocacy centers and that promotes a comprehensive and coordinated multidisciplinary team response to allegations of child abuse by maintaining a child-friendly facility at which appropriate services are provided. These services may include forensic interviews, forensic medical examinations, mental health services and other related victim services."
