There has never been a better time for young people to join the labor movement. Across the country, thousands of student workers have organized into fighting undergraduate unions and are winning transformative demands. Starbucks workers have won one of the biggest victories in modern labor history by forcing Starbucks to the bargaining table. Macalester has unionized and Student Workers at the University of Oregon are ON STRIKE.

This movement has the power to change the world, and we need you to be part of it. Through Red Hot Summer you will learn the organizing skills and strategies you need to organize your workplace and get what you deserve from your boss. This program is led by student leaders who have successfully organized new unions and who will provide crucial insights and lessons as you begin your own organizing journey.

Here are a few things you'll be able to do after completing Red Hot Summer:
- Have successful one-on-one organizing conversations with your coworkers
- Map out your workplace to identify existing power structures
- Build an escalating campaign to ramp up pressure on your boss
- Develop new leaders in your union to make sure your power lasts
