S.A.F.E. – Starving Artists Finding Exposure
Artist Application
Presented by ArtsUnited
Program Overview
S.A.F.E. (Starving Artists Finding Exposure) is a groundbreaking arts initiative by ArtsUnited designed to uplift and empower emerging artists across disciplines - visual, performing, literary, culinary, and film - by providing them with the resources, space, and spotlight they need to thrive.
Each year, 12 talented artists are selected for this transformative opportunity. Every selected artist will receive a $3,000 ArtsUnited Grant and be assigned a dedicated month in 2026 to produce and present a public event (or events) that highlights their unique artistic voice. Events will take place at the ArtsUnited Gallery, a dynamic space committed to celebrating creative expression in all its forms.
From immersive art installations, film screenings to live performances, book readings, or culinary experiences, S.A.F.E. is a platform where bold ideas come to life and new talent is discovered.
Our mission is to provide starving artists with the opportunity to gain exposure, connect with the community, and elevate their creative careers - safely, sustainably, and with support to become seasoned artists.
Application Forms accepted on a rolling basis.
Selected artists will be contacted with upcoming performance opportunities.
