Volunteer Agreement

This Volunteer Agreement ("Agreement") is made between The A.R.T.S. Community Center and the undersigned volunteer ("Volunteer") as of the date signed below.

1. Volunteer Commitment
As a volunteer with The A.R.T.S. Community Center, I agree to:Participate in all scheduled assignments I have accepted to the best of my ability. Notify a coordinator in advance if I am unable to attend a scheduled assignment. Uphold a professional and cooperative attitude during all activities.

2. Unpaid Volunteer Status
I understand and agree that:

I am offering my time and services to The A.R.T.S. Community Center voluntarily and without expectation of financial compensation or future employment.

I will not receive wages, benefits, or any other compensation for my volunteer service.

3. Confidentiality
I acknowledge that during my volunteer activities, I may have access to confidential or sensitive information, including but not limited to:

Personal information about participants, including minors.

Internal documents, emails, or project materials.

I agree to keep all such information strictly confidential and not disclose it to any person outside the organization, unless authorized by The A.R.T.S. Community Center.

4. Integrity and Conduct
I agree to:

Represent The A.R.T.S. Community Center with honesty, respect, and integrity.

Avoid any behavior that may harm or negatively reflect on the organization or its members.

Follow instructions from staff and coordinators, and work cooperatively with fellow volunteers and participants.

5. Working with Children
If my volunteer role involves working with children, I agree to:

Treat all children with kindness, patience, and respect.

Never be alone with a child in a private setting.

Report any concerns or incidents involving children to a supervisor immediately.

Undergo any background checks or training required by The A.R.T.S. Community Center.

6. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. The A.R.T.S. Community Center reserves the right to dismiss volunteers for behavior deemed inappropriate or noncompliant with the guidelines set forth.

7. Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this agreement. I understand that my participation as a volunteer is at the sole discretion of The A.R.T.S. Community Center.
