• KIDS Spiritual Gifts

  • Welcome to the Kids’ Spiritual Gifts Assessment

    This special activity is designed to help children discover some of the ways God may be working in and through them to love and serve others. Every follower of Jesus is gifted by the Holy Spirit and that includes kids! These gifts help us share God's love with our friends, family, church, and the world.

    For Parents or Grown-ups:
    We invite you to go through this assessment with your child. Read each statement aloud if needed, and talk together about what the child thinks and feels. Encourage them to answer honestly based on who they are today — but please let the child answer for themselves. Your role is to support and affirm, not to correct or guide their responses.

    For Kids:
    As you read each statement, ask yourself: “Does this sound like me?”

    You’ll choose a number to show how true each sentence is for you:

    3 = Usually true
    2 = Sometimes true
    1 = Rarely true
    0 = Never true
    There are no right or wrong answers.  This is just a way to learn more about how God made you!

    After You Finish:
    Once you’ve answered all the questions, your scores for all 10 spiritual gifts will be added up. Then you’ll look at your results and choose your Top 3 gifts (the ones with the highest scores.)

    These Top 3 gifts can help you and your family think and pray about how you might enjoy serving others and being part of God's loving work in the world.

    What Happens Next:
    On Sunday, May 25th, we’ll explore how we can use our gifts to serve through the church and in the wider community--kids and adults!
