    4. Tell me about yourself beyond what’s on the application. It could be about your family or pets or a sport or something.

    CAMPER INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

    1. What about an area for growth or quality that you can improve on? 
    2. Why are you applying to The GEMS Camp?
    3. What is your greatest strength (what do you think you will contribute to your peers)?
    4. Have you ever attended a sleepaway camp?
    5. Tell me about a time when you experienced team conflict. It could be extracurricular, a school project…What was the conflict? Who was involved? And, how was it resolved?
    6. What are you looking forward to the most at The GEMS Camp?

    INTERN AND MENTOR INTERVIEW QUESTIONS

    1. Do you have any experience working with teens or children? If so, in what capacity?
    2. Why are you applying for this position?
    3. What has your previous experience as a camper taught you about women and girls in STEM? 
    4. What qualities do you possess that will make you an effective intern?
    5. How do you handle critical feedback? For example, if one of the directors ask you to do something differently, but you were almost done with completing the task. How would you handle this situation?
