  • Thank you for your interest in participating in Books Gowns & Crowns: Chapter 5 taking place at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California September 17-20, 2026. 

     

    2026 Fees: 

    • Non-refundable/non-transferable table fee of $75 for a Single Booth (8x10 section)
    • Non-refundable/non-transferable table fee of $150 for a Double Booth (8x20 section)
    • Sponsorship opportunities will be available if accepted

    This fee covers 1 6ft table, tablecloth, and 2 chairs for a Single Booth (2 6ft tables, tablecloths, and 4 chairs for a Double Booth) at our Bookish Convention.

    • If you would like entrance into all other events hosted by Books Gowns & Crowns, including our Welcome Party, Author Speed Dating, workshops, panels, and the Siren's Song Fantasy Ball, you will be required to purchase a 'Vendor Event Ticket' for a fee of $175

     

    • Each Narrator will be permitted to bring 1 assistant at no cost to aid them during the convention on Friday & Saturday. If your assistant would like entrance into all other events hosted by Books Gowns & Crowns, including our Welcome Party, Author Speed Dating, workshops, panels, and the Siren's Song Fantasy Ball, they will be required to purchase an 'Assistant Add-On Ticket' for a fee of $175.

     

    Invoices will be sent via PayPal from Books Gowns & Crowns shortly after authors have been selected, and must be paid within 5 business days to confirm your spot. Assistant tickets will be invoiced at a later time.

     

    Drayage:

    When determining whether to participate in this event, it is important to note that Books Gowns & Crowns will be using an exhibit company for the handling of goods. We are currently sourcing pricing from GES, Alliance, and Freeman to identify the lowest cost for our vendors. Drayage services typically cost between $2.50 and $4.50 per pound. Drayage will be used ONLY if you are shipping boxes to the exhibit company for storage and delivery of goods.

     

    *PLEASE NOTE: BOOKS GOWNS & CROWNS IS A COMPANY THAT SUPPORTS HUMAN ARTISTS. WE DO NOT ACCEPT VENDORS THAT USE GENERATIVE AI (whether that be via narrators, artists, authors, etc.)

Once all narrators for this event have been confirmed, all remaining applicants will be notified that they have been placed on our waitlist.

    Please select either:

    Single Booth

    • 8x10 section with 1 6ft table, tablecloth, and 2 chairs

    Double Booth

    • 8x20 section with 2 6ft tables, tablecloths, and 4 chairs

    For Narrators sharing a table:

    • If Single Booth is selected, the fee is per narrator.

     

  • Should be Empty:
