Community buildings and community spaces play an important role in bringing people together for health, social, wellbeing, education and recreation purposes. The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) recognises the vital role of community facilities in strengthening our social fabric and building opportunities for our coalfield communities. Having welcoming and accessible places have a big impact on a person’s experience and likelihood of coming back.
If you require support to safeguard, maintain or improve your community facility and you are based or benefit people within our coalfield communities, we may be able to support you by providing access to essential information, to help you identify and prioritise tasks, and where required, justify the need for investment through access to professional surveys. Examples of such surveys include, but are not limited to:
• Building Condition Survey & 5 Year Planned Maintenance Schedule;
• Asbestos Survey;
• Fire Risk Assessment;
• Energy Efficiency Survey;
• Health & Safety Risk Assessment; and
• Damp Surveys.
If you require this support please complete this form and a member of our development team will be in touch within 10 working days.
Before you start, just a few points to note:
1. If you are unable to save the survey, please make sure you have time to complete the questions. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
2. Please be as honest as possible as this gives a really clear picture of the current issues facing our coalfield communities. We may be able to offer you support on these issues or be able to signpost to other organisations that will be able to help.
