Fees - Non-Before/After Care Students:

Drop-In Fee from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m. = $50 Fee

Drop-In Fee from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. = $50 Fee

Please note there is a registration fee of $25 per child.

Check, money orders, and credit card are accepted. Student's name and week paid must be visible on checks and money orders. There will be a $25 fee for all late payments.

$1 charge will be applied for every minute after 6:00 p.m. for late pick up.

Please note, if a person is on the list to pick up your child(ren), we will only release them with proper ID. It is your responsibility to keep the list updated. We are not authorized to release your child(ren) unless they are on the list. We also will release them to anyone on your list unless you notify us or remove that person.

In addition, be mindful, that the office closes at 3:30 p.m. If there is a change in pickup for an aftercare student(s), please contact the office no later than 2:00 p.m. or email me at sharon.long@aaota.org no later than 3:00 p.m. These policies are in place to protect your child(ren No exceptions will be made.

Payment Information
Before and After Care is a service Athenian Academy of Technology and the Arts provides for a weekly fee. Payment is due before the service can be provided. Please plan to pay a week prior to service (every Friday Fees are payable via check, money order, cash, or credit card. Please note there is a registration fee of $25 per child.

All fees not paid in advance or by the close of business on the first day of service will accrue a late fee of $25.00. Failure to pay late fees and tuition by the last day of service for the week will result in the child(ren) being automatically withdrawn from the program for the next week until fees are paid. All outstanding balances must be paid before your child(ren) can attend the Before and After Care program.

If you will be late picking up your child(ren), please notify Aftercare. All students must be signed out by 6:00 p.m. Beginning at 6:01 p.m., a late pick-up fee of $1.00 per minute will be assessed per student for every minute sign-out has not been completed. Failure to pay for late fees will result in the child(ren) being withdrawn from the program until fees are paid. Additionally, students will not be permitted to participate in extra school functions such as: dances, field trips, field day, sports, and clubs until all fees are paid.

I understand that I am committing myself to participation in the Athenian Academy of Technology and the Arts Before and After Care program for the duration of the school year, unless events make withdrawal necessary. I understand that I am responsible for payment of contracted fees, paid in advance, at least by the preceding Friday. In addition, I understand that if my child(ren) is not signed out by 6:00 p.m. a late fee of $1.00 per minute (per student) will be charged. The Athenian Academy Before/After Care program reserves the right to terminate childcare services if fees are not paid in a timely manner or if behavior becomes too disruptive to the Before/After Care environment. Any outstanding fees owed to the school will result in your child being ineligible to participate in school function, including field trips until payment is rendered.
Program Expectations and Important Information
Dropoff/Pickup
- Students may be dropped off for before care between the hours of 6:30 am – 7:30 am. After 7:30 am, students must be dropped off during the morning car loop, which begins at 7:40 a.m.
- Students may be picked up from aftercare after 3:30 pm. If you would like to pick up your child(ren) before this time, you must do so in the car loop.
Personal Property
- Athenian Academy is not responsible for a student’s personal property.
- Please label all your child’s belongings such as: Jackets, lunch boxes, water bottles, and binders with a permanent marker.
Behavior/Discipline Policy

All families utilizing the program are expected to adhere to the Athenian Academy Handbook.
- Each student is responsible for listening, following instructions, and keeping hands, feet, and all objects to him/herself.
- Students that fail to follow directions are subject to suspension and/or expulsion from the before/aftercare program.
- If a child’s behavior endangers or injures another individual, the child may be immediately expelled from the before/aftercare program.
Aftercare Closures

Note: There will be no Aftercare provide on the following days:
- The last Friday before Thanksgiving Break
- The last Friday before Christmas Break
- The last Friday before Spring Break
- The Last Week of School

The After Care Program services students from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Any student who is picked up after 6:00 p.m. will receive a late pickup violation. After five violations during the school year, a student may be permanently dismissed from the Before and After Care Program for the remainder of the year.
