    Host: White Bluff Church of Christ Location: Camp Leatherwood, White Bluff, TN Dates: June 08th-13th, 2025 Camp Director: Brant Sweat Check In: June 8th, 2025. between 3-4PM Cost: $160 Per Camper. The cost is reduced to $140 per Camper if you are a member of staff at camp or are registering multiple kids.

  • Snack Shack (Canteen)

    The snack shack will be open three times a day:

    There will not be any extra money added to the camper's canteen account. There is no extra charge for snack shack this year, because the cost is built into the camp fee. During morning activities, drinks including soft drinks, Gatorade, and bottled water will be available. During the afternoon from 1p.m. to 4p.m. and after evening worship service, drinks and snacks, such as candy bars, chips, and candy will be

    Each camper is allowed to have one snack and one drink from the snack shack during each of these times.

    Snow cones will also be available each afternoon. These are a bonus and won't count as your snack. Water stations and cups are set up all over camp and can be accessed at any time.

    Craft Shack

    The craft shack will be open Monday through Thursday from 1p.m. to 3:30p.m. If your camper wants to do crafts, you may deposit money into their craft account during registration. They will have crafts available for your child to purchase from their account balance. If your camper wants to tie-dye a t-shirt, pillowcase, etc. we will provide the dyes and the space however we will not have any shirts or pillowcases available for them to purchase there. Please bring what they wish to tie-dye to registration with their name written on the inside collar or tag with a black permanent marker.

    Each participant (including staff and part-time helpers) must complete a Participation Agreement.

  • CAMP LEATHERWOOD, INC., PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

    I acknowledge that participation in the activity described above involves risk to the participant (and to the participant's parents or guardians if the participant is a minor) and may result in various types of injury including, but not limited to, the following: sickness, exposure to infectious/communicable disease, bodily injury, death, emotional injury, personal injury, property damage, and financial damage. In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the activity described above (the "activity"), the participant (or parents/guardians if the participant is a minor) acknowledges and accepts the risks of injury associated with participation in and transportation to and from the activity. The participant (or parents/guardians) accepts personal financial responsibility for any injury or other loss sustained during the activity or during transportation to and from the activity, as well as for any medical treatment rendered to the participant that is authorized by the sponsor or its agents, employees, volunteers, or any other representatives (collectively referred to as the "activity sponsor" Further, participant (or parents/guardians) releases and promises to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the activity sponsor for any injury arising directly or indirectly out of the described activity or transportation to and from the activity, whether such injury arises out of the negligence of the activity sponsor, the participant, or otherwise.

    If a dispute over this agreement or any claim for damages arises, the participant (or parents/guardians) agrees to resolve the matter through a mutually acceptable alternative dispute resolution process. If the participant (or parents/guardians) and the activity sponsor cannot agree upon such a process, the dispute will be submitted to a three-member arbitration panel for resolution in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

  • Parental Consent: By signing below, the undersigned hereby grants permission for the above named "Participant" to : (a) attend and participate in any and all youth ministry activities of the White Bluff Church of Christ; and (b) to attend and participate in any and all other events hosted, supported, organized, and/or sponsored by the White Bluff Church of Christ. By signing below the undersigned further agrees to the following terms and provisions.

    Medical Treatment Permission: The undersigned authorizes an adult, in whose care the participant has been entrusted, , to consent to any emergency x-ray, anesthetic, medical, surgical, or dental diagnosis or treatment and hospital care, to be rendered to the participant under the general or special supervision and on the advice of any physician or dentist licensed under the provisions of the Medical Practice Act on the medical staff of a licensed hospital or emergency care facility. The undersigned shall be liable and agree(s) to pay all costs and expenses incurred in connection with such medical and dental services rendered to the aforementioned participant pursuant to this authorization.

  • Transportation/Food/Lodging: The undersigned does also hereby give permission for the participant to ride in any vehicle driven by an approved ADULT chaperone while attending and participating in activities sponsored by the White Bluff Church of Christ. The participant and I understand that SEAT BELTS SHALL BE WORN AT ALL TIMES during transportation. Authorization and permission are hereby given to WBYG to furnish any transportation necessary (within the limitations of the White Bluff Church of Christ's insurance and applicable law), Food and/or lodging to or for the benefit of the participant.

    Photo Release: The undersigned does grant permission to use photographs and/or videos of the participant in publications, videos, slide shows, or web designs for the White Bluff Church of Christ.

    Conduct of the Participant: Participant agrees to conduct himself/herself in a way that is becoming of a Christian and in the manner directed by the White Bluff Church of Christ's ministers and approved adult chaperones. Every participant (Youth and Adult) must show respect to each other as well as to the leaders, chaperone, elders, and parents. Any behavior problems are subject to immediate disciplinary action.

    Early Return Home Policy: Should it be necessary for the participant to return home due to medical reasons, disciplinary action, or otherwise, the undersigned shall assume all transportation costs and responsibilities. If misconduct occurs, White Bluff's ministers and adult chaperones have the express right, upon notice of the undersigned, to send the participant home by commercial transportation at the undersigned's expense or by transportation arranged by the undersigned.

    Liability Release: In consideration of the White Bluff Church of Christ allowing the participant to participate in youth ministry and other congregational activities, the undersigned hereby fully and finally releases, discharges and holds harmless the White Bluff Church of Christ and its Elders, Deacons, Employees, Volunteers, and Agents (collectively herein the "Church") of and from any and all liability, claims or demands for accidental personal Injury, sickness, or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever may be incurred by the undersigned and/or participant while involved in such activities. The undersigned, individually and on behalf of the participant, and the participant, hereby assume all risk of accidental personal injury, sickness, death, damage, and expense as a result of participation in recreation and work activities hosted, supported, organized, and/or sponsored by the White Bluff Church of Christ. The undersigned further agrees to hold Harmless and indemnify the Church for any liability or expense incurred by the Church as the result of the negligent, willful, or intentional acts of participant, including any and all expenses incurred attendant thereto.

  • What NOT to Bring to Camp: Any weapons, Any Tobacco/Nicotine related products (Including Vapes) Cash/Money (Meals & Snacks provided) We suggest not to bring electronics to camp as they can be damaged or lost.

    What to Bring to Camp: Twin Bedding. (sheets, Pillows, & covers) Toiletries, Towel Bug spray, Sunscreen Shoes for sports. Swimsuit / Beach Towel Bring extra outfits as well Reusable Water Bottle (W/ Name on it)

     

    Checking In/Out of Camp: Before any camper leaves the camp property, the camper must be signed out with the camp director. They also must let their counselor know they will be away. A Parent/Guardian must let the Camp Director know that their child will need to leave. The child cannot leave without Parent/Guardian & Camp Director approval. This is for your child's safety as well as for our safety. Upon return, they must sign back in with the Camp Director to let us know they are back.

    Medications:

    All medications should be recorded and left with the Camp Nurse upon check in. The Nurse will make sure the child takes the medication as we are instructed. (This includes prescription as well as any over the counter Medications No camper should have medication on their person or in their cabin.

    Vehicle Policy: If Campers have a valid driver license and have a vehicle, they are allowed to drive to camp. There is parking available at the dining hall. If Campers drive, they are still subject to the check in/out policy. They may not leave the camp property without following the Check in/out procedure. (see above) They are not allowed to hang out in their vehicle, even during free time.

    Why have these expectations?

    1) We want to be a Holy People.

    2) We are for Marriage, and we want to protect the young people for their marriage.

    *All clothing must be modest & appropriate.

    TOPS: 

    No crop tops, scoop neck, or midriff shirts. Must have an appropriate neckline. No cleavage or undergarments should be visible. May not be lace, sheer, see through. No peephole/cold shoulder shirts.

  • BOTTOMS:

    Frays, holes, and tears must have a patch underneath - no skin may show through. No yoga pants, tights, spandex, leggings, or jeggings. Bottoms must be worn at the waistline and no undergarments should be visible. Bottoms must be no shorter than knee length.

    DRESSES:

    Much tough the knee.

    Dresses must have appropriate neckline.

    OTHER:

    All clothing must be the proper size/fit. Shoes must be worn at all times. NO pajamas, lace, or sheer material. All clothing is to be free from any inappropriate language, innuendos, or images. Swim cover-ups must be worn to and from the pool. Camp Directors and Counselors have the right to require any camper to change clothing if they deem it necessary.

    *Anything that is deemed inappropriate, distracting, or disrupts the learning environment will not be acceptable.

    * Reminder: We are Christians. We are to submit to the authority and oversight of the eldership. They care about the youth and want to keep you safe.
