Overview and Background of the 100 Exceptional Young Leaders - Achievers 2025-1.0Organized by the Federation of Global Diplomacy (FGD) Overview The 100 Exceptional Young Leaders - Achievers -1.0 2025 is a flagship initiative of the Federation of Global Diplomacy (FGD) designed to recognize, celebrate, and empower outstanding young leaders from various sectors globally. This initiative identifies individuals who have demonstrated remarkable leadership, innovation, and commitment to societal transformation. The program seeks to create a network of young visionaries who can drive sustainable development, ethical leadership, and diplomatic engagement across nations. BACKGROUND: The Federation of Global Diplomacy (FGD), a hub for diplomatic engagement and leadership, launched this initiative to bridge the gap between young changemakers and global opportunities. Recognizing that the youth are key drivers of change, FGD aims to amplify their voices and provide them with platforms for collaboration, mentorship, and leadership development. This first edition (1.0) will highlight 100 young leaders who have excelled in diverse fields such as: Governance and Diplomacy Human Rights and Social Justice Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation Science, Technology, and Innovation Education and Research Community Development and Humanitarian Services Climate Action and Sustainable Development Health and Well Being Media and Communication Through this initiative, FGD intends to: ✔ Recognize excellence in young leadership globally. ✔ Create a leadership network for young visionaries to collaborate on international projects. ✔ Provide mentorship from experienced global leaders and diplomats. ✔ Offer capacity-building programs to enhance their impact. This program aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in fostering Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for the 100 Exceptional Young Leaders Achiever 1.0 - 2025 applicants must meet the following criteria: ( Open to all Countries) 1. Age Requirement: Must be between 18 and 45 years old at the time of application. 2. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated leadership in their respective fields (governance, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, technology, education, Health and Well-being, Media, climate action, humanitarian work, etc.). 3. Impact and Innovation: Proven contribution to social change, economic development, or policy transformation. 4. Global Mindset: Commitment to international collaboration and cross-border impact. 5. Ethical Leadership: Strong moral character, integrity, and dedication to ethical leadership. 6. No Criminal Record: Must uphold a strong reputation with no involvement in unethical practices. 7. Endorsements: Recommendations from established leaders, institutions, or mentors are an added advantage. Selection Process: The selection process will be competitive and transparent, involving the following stages: 1. Call for Nominations & Applications: Open for self-nominations and third-party nominations.Submission of a personal statement, leadership portfolio, and impact report. Screening & Shortlisting: An independent selection committee will review applications based on impact, leadership, and sustainability of initiatives. 3. Interviews & Assessment: Shortlisted candidates may undergo interviews or virtual assessment sessions and Orientation. 4. Final Selection: The 100 most outstanding young influential leaders will be selected and publicly announced. Event Structure & Recognition the 100 Exceptional Young Leaders-Achievers 1.0 program will culminate in a grand Leadership Summit & Recognition Ceremony, featuring: ✔ Awards & Certificates – Honoring selected leaders for their contributions. ✔ Leadership Panel Discussions – Engaging with diplomats, policymakers, and global experts. ✔ Networking Opportunities – Connecting with fellow honorees, mentors, and international organizations. ✔ Capacity-Building Workshops – Sessions on leadership, diplomacy, and sustainable impact. ✔ Global Collaboration Platforms – Opportunities for selected leaders to join high-level initiatives and working groups under FGD.
