*This form is for all volunteer roles. 5 hours of volunteered time in the chosen role is equivalent to a ticket. All successful applicants will be contacted via their preferred method of communication. In the case you can no longer volunteer, please notify the Nexus team to withdraw your application as soon as possible - this helps give us time to ensure we are able to fill all positions.*

What volunteer position are you applying for?
Setup - This could include hanging fairy lights, Helping to set up shelters, Stacking & cutting wood & various other crunch time related tasks. (Tuesday 23rd or Wednesday 24th arrival is required for set up. Please indicate days of preference below)
First Aid - This includes shifts manning the designated first aid area & patrolling the site and using applied first aid skills & using resources if required. (Must hold a valid & up to date 1st aid certificate).
Gate Keeping & Ticket checking - Gates open from 2 PM - 12 AM Friday, 9 AM - 2 AM Saturday, and 9 AM - 2 PM Sunday. Please indicate your shift day & time preferences below, but please note this does not guarantee you will be allocated your preferences. If you’d like to volunteer with a friend, you are welcome request a shift buddy as all gate shifts must be occupied by two volunteers - however all volunteers must submit individual applications.
Traffic Management & Camp Coordination - 1 shift for 2 Volunteers from 2 PM - 7 PM Friday.
Site Preparations - Site prep is undertaken on various days in the weeks leading up to the party and can be weather dependant. Successful applicants will be contacted to indicate available times.
Bump in / Transport for items to site pre-party - This could include towing toilets to site, transporting gear or other items. (Tuesday 23rd, Wednesday 24th & Thursday 25th arrival is required for pre-party transport. Please indicate days of preference below.) *Transport roles require volunteers to have their own vehicle.*
Bump out / Transport for items from site post-party - This could include towing toilets from site, transporting gear or other items. (You must be available, clear-headed and able to drive Monday 29th for post-party transport.) *Transport roles require volunteers to have their own vehicle.*
Fire Keeping - Fire keepers will patrol the site to ensure all fires are lit, the wood chopped and accessible for all fires during your shift. Fires requiring maintenance will be located at the gate (during open times), main stage, chill space and second stage. Fires are to be maintained from 4 PM - 2 AM Friday & Saturday.
Clean-Up Crew & Waste Management - This includes shifts for Rubbish & Recycling maintenance & Toilet Maintenance (Cleaning & Toilet Paper supply) during & post event Rubbish Removal post event.

Do you understand and agree the terms of 5 hours of volunteered time (or equivalent/otherwise specified & agreed upon) entitles you to 1 free ticket for the event? Failure to fulfil roles will void entry. Volunteers that do not fulfil their roles will not be considered for future volunteer opportunities.

Do you agree to inform the Nexus team promptly in the case of needing to withdraw your application? It is appreciated if you can arrange a suitable replacement to fill your role or organise a shift swap, but we understand life happens. 2 weeks notice for withdrawal is preferential, applicants that withdraw closer than 2 weeks prior may not be considered for future volunteer roles.
