Saturday, May 31st 1:00pm-3:30pm at East Bay Birth Collective
  • Class Description:

This class is designed to help you understand how pleasure can support the physiology of birth. You’ll learn practical tools like breathwork, touch techniques, vocalization, and body awareness practices to help you stay connected to what feels good in your body. Through videos, hands-on activities, and group discussion, we’ll explore how to work with your nervous system, redirect discomfort, and build your capacity for ease, joy, and presence in labor. You’ll leave with a toolkit of pleasure-centered practices to support yourself—or others—through the transformative experience of birth

This class is for anyone curious about inviting pleasure into birth. Whether you're currently pregnant, hoping to give birth in the future, or a birthworker wanting to deepen your understanding, this space is for you. We'll explore birth not just as a medical event, but as a potentially pleasurable, embodied, and empowering experience. (Partners and support people are welcome!)

Teacher Bio: Shireen (she/they) is a passionate full spectrum doula, lactation educator, and orgasmic birth practitioner with an aim to help people find joy and deep connection to self in their birth and postpartum experience.

    Cost: $20-60 sliding scale
